Drive to the medieval town of Sarzana, a crossroads between the regions of Liguria, Tuscany, and Emilia-Romagna since ancient times. Stroll the narrow streets and the fifteenth-century walls, towers, and fortresses while marveling at the marble friezes and architecture of the town’s homes, which still house artisans to this day (Sarzana is known for its master blacksmiths).
